Isn't She Precious?

I may be biased as my little girl's father, but this kid is really cute! For those of you who have bared with me and my lack of posting, this picture should be a just reward. Elke is growing fast, about ready to roll over and is recently an international traveler (we were just in the Dominican Republic).

So it's been a while

My last post was quite a while ago and I've understandably gotten numerous emails that complained about the lack of information coming up on the site. After all I had promised to keep all of my friends abreast of the ongoings of the McCabe family here in Vermont. With that said, here is a brief synopsis of the ongoings:

The most important and exciting news is that Kate and I going to have an addition to the family in March of next year! We just got a chance to see the ultrasound last week. (image left). As of last week the baby was 11 oz and had all of the necessary appendages. I think the profile looks a lot like me, but Kate disagrees - she does say though the our child's skinning legs and arms are definitely mine. We've decided not to find out whether its going to be a boy or a girl, it just seems more exciting that way.

Thus far the debate over whether the baby is going to be a boy or a girl is raging, with most of Kate's family (except Collin) believing that it is going to be a girl, whereas my family is squarely in the boy camp. Friends are kind of all over the map, however our most reliable evidence came in just today - one of Kate's very close friends - kindred spirit - had a dream last night that it was going to be a boy. So, I think that settles it.

Otherwise, life here in Vermont is fantastic - cold, but fantastic. The leaves have all turned and the nights have turned awfully chilly. It's amazing what a good pair of wool sock will do though.

Vermont law school has been a very pleasant surprise. The student body, in addition to being slightly older than a typical law school class, is extraordinarily passionate about the law. This passion leads to intense discussions and the debate rages even though most of us would consider ourselves on the same side of the issues.

Well, that should do it for another month or two...friends and family, take care - strangers, welcome - you bastards who like to say that I have a great site and would be interested in your product, you suck.
